Today, we’ll be focusing on what you should pack first when moving.

This includes all of your essential items that you’ll need in order to live comfortably in your new home. Keep reading for tips and advice on what to bring with you on moving day!

What should I pack first when moving? 20 things:

1. Clothes.

You’ll obviously need clothes to wear, so make sure to pack a few days’ worth of outfits. Be sure to include a mix of casual and dressier items, as you never know what you might need.

2. Toiletries.

Don’t forget your toiletries! This includes items like toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc.

3. Shoes.

Along with clothes and toiletries, you’ll need shoes. Again, be sure to pack a variety of styles so that you’re prepared for anything.

4. Towels.

You’ll need towels for showering and drying off after swimming or working out. Pack a couple of bath towels and hand towels.

5. Bedding.

Be sure to pack sheets, blankets, and pillows for your bed. You’ll want to be comfortable when you sleep, so don’t skimp on this!

6. Kitchen items.

If you’re planning on cooking in your new home, make sure to pack all of the necessary kitchen items. This includes pots, pans, silverware, plates, cups, etc.

7. Furniture.

Don’t forget your electronics! This includes items like laptops, phones, tablets, and chargers.

10. Cleaning supplies.

You’ll need cleaning supplies to keep your new place clean and tidy. Be sure to pack things like dish soap, sponges, trash bags, etc.
